2017 Success Gallery: Connecting College and Career Success

Do you offer work-based learning opportunities to your students? Do you engage in career exploration activities with students? Does your organization use labor market data to advise students on postsecondary and career choices? Do you collaborate with local business and postsecondary institutions to ensure that your community can meet future labor market needs? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the National College Access Network (NCAN) invites you to showcase the efforts of your college access/success program in the Connecting College and Career Success Gallery and Reception at the 2017 NCAN National Conference. The conference, Making Waves for Postsecondary Access and Success, will be held September 11-13, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina in San Diego, California.

Many NCAN member programs are beginning to focus their efforts on helping students make clear connections between what they study and their postsecondary and career choices. This year’s Gallery, made possible by generous support from ACT Center for Equity in Learning will give NCAN members the opportunity to highlight the strategies member programs are using to make those connections. It will also provide the opportunity for conference attendees to network with and learn from each other. We strongly encourage NCAN member organizations to submit an application to share the strategies, partnerships, and tools they use to connect college and career success for their students.

Please apply now to share your most effective work with other access/success colleagues! The Success Gallery application can be found at the bottom of this page.
