NCAN is committed to advocating for students, families and communities on issues related to college access and success. Over the past two years, NCAN has played an active role in coalitions working to protect funding for Pell Grants and has also supported work to protect funding for and promote the value of the College Access Challenge Grant and AmeriCorps programs.
As the FY13 federal budget season approaches, NCAN will post updates and activities to this page regarding our ongoing work on these and other important issues.
Specifically for its members, NCAN tracks legislation and provides update through the EBrief and Member Policy and Advocacy webpages. These pages include tools for researching Congress and legislation as well as NCAN's summaries of pertinent legislation. These pages require a member login.
