NCAN Announces New Collaboration with the National Student Clearinghouse

June 28, 2012

The National College Access Network (NCAN) is pleased to further support college access and success programs as a result of a new collaborative agreement with the National Student Clearinghouse. Through this agreement, NCAN is able to offer StudentTrackerSM services at a discount of up to 50 percent for our members, enabling college access and success programs to track student postsecondary enrollment and completion.

“College completion is the ultimate goal for the students we serve,” said NCAN Board President Pranav Kothari. “As our member programs transform from college access programs to college success programs, this tool will help programs use data to achieve our shared missions.” NCAN’s strategic plan seeks to addresses educational attainment gaps by building the capacity of its member programs to better serve low-income, underrepresented students.

The National Student Clearinghouse is a nonprofit organization that facilitates the exchange and understanding of student enrollment, performance, and related information on behalf of its more than 3,300 participating higher education institutions, which represent 96 percent of all students in public and private U.S. institutions. The Clearinghouse offers the only nationwide coverage of enrollment and degree records — encompassing more than 110 million students and growing.
